30 before 30 Challange # 1

As I was looking over my 30 before 30 list, I decided that I would tackle #23. Start and Finish the 30 day Shred but in addition, I would also join the #eatclean ladies and try 30 days of eating clean + the shred.
What is about this year that has inspired so many women to think about being healthy? Maybe it's just the women in my life but I am seriously impressed by the overwhelming amount of folks who are part of the #eatclean movement. A few key inspirations are @Bubblegarm and @ebrushkaaa, both amazing bloggers who earlier this year decided to create "food diary" accounts on Instagram @officialfooddiary and @eattrainbefit and have left a mark

Today, I am on DAY 3 and am really proud of myself for sticking with it
Day 1: Early Morning 30 Day Shred Level 1
Day 2: Late afternoon 30 Day Shred Level 1 + Jog/Walk
Day 3: Early Morning 30 Day Shred + Jog/Walk

Inspiration is always required...when making decisions to change your lifestyle, so I thought I would share a few of mine.

Jog Day 2

Workout Day 2
 Eating Clean? YES

Breakfast: Has mainly consisted of Eggs, Bananas and Coffee
Snacks: Apples and a handful of almonds
Lunch: Salads + Healthy Turkey Sandwich on Wheat
Dinner: Lean Meats and Veggies
Post Dinner Snacks: Lots of Fruit (Strawberries and Grapes)
Drinks: Water + Water + Mo' Water

My 30 before 30 list





So, It’s the day before my 29th birthday. I’m not sure how I feel about it… part of me feels like I should have accomplished so much more by now - the other half feels like I’ve come a long way. A year from now - I’ll be turning 30, and that definitely feels like a milestone. So instead of wondering what this birthday could mean, I’ve decided to focus on what I’d like my next birthday to mean. I’ve decided to write a 30 before 30 list, which is a random compilation of things I’ll use to inspire myself for the next 365 days.

30 before 30

1.  Work out every morning
2.  Take a photography class
3.  Learn French
4.  Travel to Europe
5.  Spend a weekend on an island doing nothing
6.  Read more classics(Jane Austen)
7.  Update the blog weekly 
8.  Network/Meet New People
9.  Try new recipes and create my own recipe book
10. Be more present
11. Take a road trip to Pismo
12. Visit at least 10 wineries before the end of summer 
13. Complete at least 3 projects from my Pinterest board
14. Join a meaningful campaign and donate both time and $
15. Take a cooking class
16. Find new mentors
17. Learn how to meditate
18. Plan thoughtful date nights
19. Attend a concert
20. Go Salsa dancing
21. Create an inspiration board, and use it
22. Spend more time with family & friends
23. Start & and and Finish the “30 day shred”
24. Spend more time at the beach
25. Eat more sushi
26. Complete at least 6 #photoaday challenges
27. Watch every Audrey Hepburn movie
28. Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge 
29. Create an outdoor living space
30. Spend less time online and more time in life
